33. My WWE 2K16 Predictions

Okay so I am here today to talk WWE 2K16. With Summerslam approaching us, I knew that I needed to do some predictions. Summerslam is known for top notch action, but the Saturday before is very special for gamers out there. It is the day they do the roster reveal for the next installment for WWE 2K. So today I am going to predict who I think will be in the game for Superstars and Divas. I am not going to list Legends that will be in the game because I feel like they could literally give us anyone. I am also going to predict some match types that will debut or be brought back. So let's get started...

QUICK REMINDER: The following Superstars/Divas have already been confirmed.
Seth Rollins
Dean Ambrose
Finn Balor
Paige
Bad News Barrett
Daniel Bryan
Hulk Hogan
Andre the Giant
Triple H
The Rock
Alexa Bliss
Eva Marie (not confirmed, but very high chance with recent news)

Predictions for WWE Superstars:
Seth Rollins (WWE World Heavyweight Champion)
Daniel Bryan (Intercontinental Champion)
John Cena (United States Champion)
Cesaro and Tyson Kidd (Tag Team Champions)
Randy Orton
Big Show
Sheamus
Dean Ambrose
Roman Reigns
Brock Lesnar
The Miz
Fandango
Zack Ryder
Luke Harper
Erick Rowan
Bray Wyatt
Kofi Kingston
Big E
Xavier Woods
Stardust
Neville
Rusev
Dolph Ziggler
Bad News Barrett
Darren Young
Titus O'Neil
Jimmy Uso
Jey Uso
Mark Henry
Damien Mizdow
Undertaker
Ryback
Curtis Axel
R-Truth
Triple H
Viktor
Konnor

Okay so these are the Superstars I think will be in the game. I went through the roster on the WWE website and looked through everyone. There are certain people that I think won't make it this year and if they aren't mentioned then I don't think they will make it.

Predictions for Divas
Nikki Bella (Divas Champion)
Brie Bella
Naomi
Paige
Emma
Natalya
Eva Marie
Summer Rae
AJ Lee
Cameron (DLC)
Layla(DLC)
Alicia Fox
Rosa Mendes (Manager)

Okay so these are the divas I see making it into the game. I really feel like WWE 2K is really going to make up for what they did last year for the divas.

Predictions for NXT Superstars:
Finn Balor
Blake
Murphy
Aiden English
Baron Corbin
Bull Dempsey
Colin Cassidy
Enzo Amore
Hideo Itami
Kalisto
Kevin Owens
Mojo Rawley
Sami Zayn
Simon Gotch
Solomon Crowe
Tyler Breeze

I really think WWE 2K is going to invest big time into NXT this year. NXT has grown so big that it is almost impossible to not feature their roster in the game.

Predictions for NXT Divas:
Charlotte
Sasha Banks
Bayley
Becky Lynch
Alexa Bliss
Carmella (DLC)

Most people are probably thinking "No way that many". I feel like with how much praise the NXT Divas get it is also almost impossible to not feature them in the game. The 4 Horsewomen are a given, but a lot of you probably don't think Alexa or Carmella will make it. Well Alexa Bliss has already been confirmed for the game. And I feel like Carmella will be in the game just because she is kind of a package deal with Enzo and Big Cass.

Predicted Match Types (Brought back and to debut):
I Quit Match
Ladder Match
Chairs Match
2 out of 3 Falls
Battle Royal (4-8)
4 on 4 Tag Match
#1 Contenders Match
Triple Threat Tag Match
Championship Scramble
6 Pack Challenge
Fatal 4 Way (Ladder, Tables, and TLC)
Triple Threat (Ladder, Tables, and TLC)
Street Fight
Ambulance Match

Okay so that is a list of match types I would like to see debut/be brought back. Some of them may not even make it. I don't see all of these making it, but a good chunk of them will.

Alright well that is all for this blog. Let me know what you think of my Predictions for WWE 2K16 on Twitter. Let me know if there is anything you want to add or take out. Please keep in mind that this is predictions and is not a reliable roster that is confirmed, other than the names I addressed that were confirmed. I hope you guys enjoyed this, Thank You!

32. The NXT Revolution

"If everyone is moving forward together, then success takes care of itself".

This past Monday night on Raw we witnessed something. Something that will spark a movement, something that will change the landscape of WWE forever. Three letters represent this ground-breaking Revolution....... NXT. The WWE Universe has been begging and pleading with WWE to bring in new competition. Even some of the talent has voiced concern. We, as wrestling fans, have been looking at a road with a dead end for years, but out of no where that road seemed to forma and have no end. We soon realized that change was coming a lot sooner than we thought.

This past Monday Night Raw we had a divas in-ring segment. It started out with Team Bella claiming their dominance in the divas division and how they are ready for better competition. They were interrupted by none other than Stephanie McMahon. Wrestling fans at this point knew that something big was about to happen. Stephanie declares that enough is enough and it is time for a change starting right now. Those watching at home were on the edge of their seat as we knew that this segment was about to be memorable. Stephanie brings out Paige saying that she is the one trying to initiate change, however she will need back up. The crowd and people at home were sitting there thinking "Are they actually going to pull the trigger?". McMahon then introduces BECKY LYNCH to a huge pop from the crowd. I couldn't believe this, I was in shock. Out of all people that could debut, I was clearly not expecting Becky to debut. Becky was by far the most surprising for everyone I think. Then Stephanie explains that Paige and Becky need 1 more diva on their side and this is when the crowd starting giving the "woos". OUT COMES CHARLOTTE. I was freaking out at this point, I couldn't believe that this was happening. Then out of no where, Naomi and Tamina come out and say how they have been overlooked for too long. Stephanie then introduces someone to align with them and it was THE BOSS SASHA BANKS. I was speechless at this point, I was just lost for words. So we had 3 trios ready to take an opportunity and seize it. We have Team Bella, Team Paige, and Team B.A.D., and Stephanie made it clear that a brawl was about to break out. Nikki wasn't having none of it and shoves Sasha Banks, and Sasha snatched her back so fast. A BRAWL BREAKS OUT. We have all 9 of these girls going at it to prove who is more dominant. The segment ends with all 3 NXT girls locking in their submissions of the Figure 8, DisArmor, and Bank Statement. The segment ends with Team Paige and Team B.A.D standing tall with Team Bella leaving all distraught.
This segment was just golden. I am having a hard time as we speak trying to wrap my head around this still. In my opinion, this is by far the best diva debut of all time and I will explain why. Sure, they didn't win a title in their debut. Sure, they didn't even have a match in their debut. Sure, they didn't even get on the mic in their debut. It isn't about that for me. It was the message behind it. The message behind it was what made it the best. This segment sparked something, it sparked a Revolution. A revolution in women's wrestling. These NXT girls are going to take not only the division, but the company to new heights. Sasha, Charlotte, and Becky are the 3 girls that will elevate this division limitless opportunity. Although, Bayley is also a part of this movement so it was a bit confusing why she wasn't in this segment. But we have to focus on what we have been given and I am more than satisfied with what we got. Fans have been wanting #GiveDivasAChance to come true and it finally did on Raw. It went from #GiveDivasAChance to #DivasGotAChance. A lot of wrestling fans feel like we are going to get real, genuine change in the division. I personally feel like Triple H and Stephanie are behind this movement because they have been overseeing NXT for a while now. I feel like Stephanie is kind of being that "women in power" and sticking up for the divas. I want her to be more involved with the divas on TV, kind of like a Divas GM or some role that oversees the Main Roster Divas. It is a good time to be a fan of women's wrestling because our prayers may actually be answered. I am just so proud of WWE and them finally wanting to change for the better.
Well I just wanted to get on here and say my peace on this. A NXT Revolution is coming to the Main Roster. The NXT Divas are legit taking over. It is about time Vince wakes up and realizes that times are changing. Women in all sports are revolutionizing the sport they are in, such as, Soccer, UFC, and Tennis. It is about time WWE joins those sports and makes their mark with women. I have all the faith in the world that Charlotte, Becky, and Sasha can bring that change that is so desperately needed. I can't wait to see what is next for the divas, a lot of the fans are actually anticipating what is next for the divas. We don't have a match set for Battleground this Sunday, however I know we will get one. It may be confirmed later in the week and I know it will be good. I am thrilled to see what is next and I know all of you are too. Thank You!

31. IMO: Sasha Banks

I'M BACK!!!!!! It has been legit 9 days since I have done a blog. I just recently got a new job and I have been working like crazy. However, I finally got that under control and I am ready to get back into this blog. So today I am doing a "IMO" post. And in honor of the recent rumors and appearance today at Raw, I am doing Sasha Banks! So let's get started...

So Mrs. Sasha Banks, there is so much to say but I am going to just list 3 things about her that I want to talk about with her. Those are her wrestling, character, and being a fan or in her words "I am still a Mark at heart".

Wrestling: Okay so Sasha is one of the best workers in the ring that I have ever seen. Not only as a women, but as a wrestler in general. When I see her matches I know I am in for a true contest of wrestling because she delivers everytime. Sasha's move-set is very heel and very unique. Like she isn't a lucha, She isn't a powerhouse. She isn't technical. She is a bit of everything, and that comes rare in WWE. Sasha is just so innovative in the ring that she always keeps the fans interested. Her and Charlotte are quoted as the Trish and Lita of the next generation. However, I firmly believe that Charlotte and Sasha are better than Trish and Lita when it comes to in-ring ability. Sasha has trust in her ability and has trust in the girls she gets in the ring with. She has never had a bad match in NXT, and to be quite fair, none of the girls in NXT have put on a bad match.

Character: I love talking about Sasha's character. So for those who don't know, Sasha Banks' character is "The Boss of NXT". She is an arrogant diva in NXT, which is polar opposite to how she is in real life. Sasha's character is one of the best character's to be generated out of NXT. That is another thing that NXT has that WWE doesn't, and that is authentic characters for their women. Sasha's character plays a key role in her matches. She knows that she has a character that is mean and she puts that into her matches. She will have the best character on the main roster when she does debut on Main Roster. Sasha came into NXT as a generic babyface. She became frustrated with it and reached out to her real life cousin, Snoop Dogg. She knew that everyone called Snoop a "Boss" so she grabbed that role and ran with it. She got some tips from Snoop on how to be a "Boss" and she became the Boss of NXT. I am so glad that she reached out to Snoop because he, in a way, added a spark to the big flame of her becoming The Boss.

She Is Simply A Fan: Sasha started watching wrestling when she was a little girl. She actually claims that she never watched divas growing up, she watched the men. She was a huge fan of Eddie Guerrero. She knew that when she saw him that she knew she wanted to become a wrestler. She wrestled indies for a little bit, then went into NXT. That is the one thing that I love about Sasha. She is a fan of the product. Nowadays, WWE hires models, pro athletes, and bodybuilders. And at times they dip into the Indy pool. Sasha is a pure fan of the product and still claims to be a "mark". It is hard to find a diva in WWE who was a fan since they were a child. She was such a fan that she missed family functions and even her own grandpas funeral to not miss WWE on TV. Of course, they don't have to be a long time fan in order to be known as a great WWE Diva. Sasha being a life-long fan of WWE just adds more appeal to her with fans. Because she knows what it is like to be us.

In Conclusion, Sasha Banks will go down as one of the best women's wrestlers. All of the 4 Horsewomen will go down as some of the best. Sasha has such a promising career here in WWE and according to her, "I will be doing this forever". Sasha Banks will be a great diva in WWE. I hope she does debut tonight on Raw (July 13, 2015) along with Charlotte. I wish Sasha Banks the best of luck in WWE and hopefully I get to meet her one day.

30. #GiveDivasAChance

Okay so today fans on twitter have had another "trigger" to spark something. Something that was sparked back in March and then kind of fizzled out a few weeks after. And that is the trend of #GiveDivasAChance. So fans everywhere have grown tired of the constant mistreatment of the women in WWE. During the initial trend of #GiveDivasAChance, we were heard and things started changing. Divas were getting 2 segments on TV and everything was going good. However, knowing WWE, many things fizzle out. After WrestleMania it all started to fall down hill. Sure, we still had storylines and sure we had good matches. All of that considered, I think I can speak for all wrestling fans that we feel as if WWE is settling. They are settling with the female talent. Recently we saw Nikki Bella and Paige have the longest divas PPV match in history going 11 minutes and 18 seconds. Of course, fans were excited, but we sat there and asked ourselves "Why can't we have this all the time". And today as I look on Twitter I can see fans are starting this trend again. "It only takes one spark"...

Wrestling Fans see NXT and we see how amazing it is. It is a awesome developmental program for the Future of WWE. And when wrestling fans see the women down there, we are in shock. They get so much time and plenty of storyline progression along with character development. We see these girls in NXT get like 20 minutes on their live specials and then we see main roster get like under 10 minutes on PPV. It's not fair. Triple H runs NXT, and we can clearly see that he cares for his talent and invest 150% in the product. So it is mind blowing when I watch NXT an then I see Raw, it's like night and day. How can your developmental territory get more investment than your main roster? We know that the main roster girls can go in the ring. We have amazing talent on the main roster, it is just not utilized. And to be quite honest, we don't know why? We are not trending this to get attention, we are trending this because we know these girls can pull some awesome matches.

Vince McMahon. I, personally, don't know what the problem is. I feel like he played the fans with tweeting "We hear you, stay tuned #GiveDivasAChance". Like we really thought we sparked permanent change, but little did we know it would only last about 1 month. We have tried so hard to get his attention, to try and get something from him. We aren't asking him to make pigs fly, we are asking for some chances to be given. The main roster divas have even voices their concerns through Twitter and interviews, but it seems that it isn't enough. Yes, I and everyone else should be glad that we even get divas on Raw and PPV's, but it goes back to my initial point of Vince settling with his talent. He needs to really work on his product when it comes to the divas.

He needs to start by giving the divas characters first. I am not sure if it is true, but there was a report than Vince said that the divas don't have characters and that they are all crazy, bipolar women. Which I think is ridiculous. This is Sports Entertainment. This is World Wrestling Entertainment. You have to play a character on TV. That is how fans get to know the diva or superstar. That is how the crowd identifies with them. You cant sit there and have all the divas be crazy and bipolar. We cant be having random face and heel turns. That is ridiculous. It goes back to the lack of investment in the women on main roster. They need to have characters, because once they have that down they can bring that to their matches.

The next thing he needs to do is have meaningful storylines. Me as a wrestling fan, I am tired of seeing storylines about caddy crap. We need to have storylines be centered around the championship. That is the ultimate surprise for the women in WWE and it is often treated as a prop. That is a title, not something to carry around. WWE needs to invest more in the title, and make it mean more. Of course, right now we have current Divas Champion Nikki Bella approaching Longest Reigning Divas Champion in less than 80 days and we need that to mean more. WWE isn't investing in storylines that make that title the ultimate goal. We don't care if someone is pale. We don't care if someone is too skinny or too fat. We don't care for the middle school issues to be quite honest. I want to see some girls kick ass in the ring and fight hard for that title, period point blank.

We can trend #GiveDivasAChance all we want. But the one thing we want out of this is permanent change in the division. We have such a good batch of women in WWE right now, and it isn't being showcased because lack of investment. TAKE THE RISKS. TAKE THE OPPORTUNITES. We really want Vince to let his girls go loose. We have girls like Natalya who is arguably the best wrestling in the division and one of the best in the world. She hasn't been utilized to her full potential on the main roster, and if you don't believe me go watch her match with Charlotte at Takeover 2014. We also have girls like the Bella's who have improved like crazy and really want to wrestle more. Yet, they can't because of booking. We also have NXT girls like Summer Rae, Emma, and Paige who can pull out good matches too, but haven't been given the chance too. And speaking of characters, girls like Cameron and Alicia Fox could be great heel character. They just need to be given the chance. I could go on for days about what the divas can bring to the table, but the divas know what they can bring.

Enough is Enough. Vince McMahon we want change. I know for a fact that it doesn't take an arm and a leg to do so. You have a 3 hour Raw, but divas get like 3 minutes? What type of mess is that? I will always be a fan of WWE and everyone in it. I thank Vince for making this company a global franchise, however the man is stubborn. And the creative team definitely needs to be changed. To be honest, the creative team needs to consist of fans of the product and people who actually care for the divas in some aspect. You can tell there is a disconnect between creative and the storylines that are put on TV. Please Vince, we don't know what we have to do in order for you to take this seriously. We ask that you hear us, and FINALLY do what is BEST for BUSINESS!!!
